One of my favourite aspects of the urban landscape is the lights and the atmosphere that comes with it. Over the years I have learnt to love the artificial lighting and what is intentionally or unintentionally created by it, I love the highlights and the glow, I love the strong contrast it can create and the bold colours that are used. Wherever I go, the lights change around me, bringing new perspectives and colours to my eyes, its always something fresh and new when it comes to it. If you are someone who has looked through my other work, you'll see I am always drawn to the vibrancy that illuminates, how it is a running theme within the wider aspects of my work. It is something that has grown with my style, but also something that has helped mould and develop it too.

There's no Urban Life without the Lives that fill it. Capturing the people in their daily lives, navigate busy environments, whether it be for social or work, will always fascinate me. Every time I catch myself in the rush I always find my mind flooded with questions about the lives of all the people around me, the ones I capture in these stills and also the ones watching me do so. Millions of thoughts and ideas floating around, each one different, maybe some are almost the same, distant and yet so close. I tend to feel conflicting thoughts of wonder but also space, I am just another person in the sea, but yet I feel solitude in my own mind. I try to capture the sense of appreciation I have to these people, simply just living their lives, I hope they like the images they find themselves in.
